Fly Fishing Salmon

Winter fly fishing for steelhead, salmon river NY. What’s your favorite fly?
Let me know what your favorite fly is for winter steelhead. I mostly use glo bugs, but would love some other tips. Thanks.
A few that I always carry with me on the Salmon river:
1) Nuclear eggs (yarn flys) in orange/chartruese or pink/chartruese
2) Black bead head wooly boogers, size 4 or 6 fished down and across then “swung” in the current
3) stone fly nymphs (black and gold) dead drifted
4) and my secret weapon: a size 12 copper john dead drifted
I use an 8 wt rod w/ 250yds backing – floating line, and florocarbon tippet (3x or 4x) nymphs and yarn flys fished w/ an indicator, a few small splitshot to get them deep.
Wooly boogers work well at +750 cfm
